Get Out of Your Own Way: Sis, You're Blocking Your Own Blessings!

Can I be real? Sometimes, the biggest obstacle between us and the life God has for us is ourselves. We overthink, procrastinate, self-sabotage, and let fear talk us out of what God has already called us to do. Sound familiar?
But here’s the truth: God didn’t create you to be stuck. He has plans for you...but you have to get out of your own way to walk in them.
So, how do we do that?
1. Recognize the Roadblocks You’ve Created
Before you can move forward, you have to acknowledge what’s holding you back. Ask yourself:
Am I doubting myself?
Am I waiting for the "perfect" moment?
Am I afraid of failure?
Am I stuck in people-pleasing?
"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he..." – Proverbs 23:7 Your thoughts shape your reality. If you believe you can’t, you won’t. Time to shift your mindset!
2. Stop Overthinking and Start Moving
Overthinking is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons. It keeps you in a cycle of "what-ifs" instead of faith-driven action. Faith is movement. Even if it’s a small step, take it."Faith without works is dead." – James 2:26 You don’t need to have it all figured out, just GO. Start the thing, apply for the job, launch the business, write the book, make the call.
3. Break Free from the Fear of Failure
Failure is scary. But here’s the thing: failure is not final. Even when you stumble, God uses it to grow you."Though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again..." – Proverbs 24:16 Stop seeing failure as the end. Instead, see it as part of the process. Every mistake is a lesson, not a life sentence.
4. Quit Comparing Your Journey to Others
Social media will have you thinking you’re behind, but God’s timing is different for everyone. What He has for you is for YOU! He specifically told me, "You can scroll all day and duplicate what you see, or you can partner with Me to create" (mind blown) "Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us." – Hebrews 12:1 Your race is unique. Stay focused on your path.
5. Trust That God Has Already Equipped You
God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. You have everything you need inside of you to step into your purpose."His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life..." – 2 Peter 1:3. Instead of waiting for more resources, more confidence, or more clarity, trust that God already gave you what you need.
