Have Faith & Go!

In the beginning, God created us, brought us forward in His image (identity), blessed us (empowerment), and gave us the instructions to GO.

Go be fruitful.

Go multiply.

Go replenish the earth.

Go subdue it and have dominion in it.

He also (because He is so good) gave us the tools we need to get the job done.

As we move forward into this year, already equipped to do the predestined work God has for us, we should remember that the difference between our old life and our new life is one word: Go! We see this repeated over and over in the Bible:

• From an issue of blood... to her faith making her well.

• From being caught in an adulterous act... to being forgiven.

• From being thirsty and having five husbands... to encountering the Bridegroom and never thirsting again.

• From worrying about debt collectors... to a flowing abundance.

In faith, she embraces new beginnings, as she moves forward with hope.

In the midst of all these stories was desperation for a need to be met, but there were also actions and obedience required.

Our willingness to be obedient this year could be the turning point for our lives, assignments, ministries, and more. It could become the bridge to someone else's encounter with the Lord. If hope is the connection that some may need to cross over into eternity with Jesus, will you go? Will you bring hope to others by obeying the Lord’s instructions, trusting that He is with you and will provide everything you need to execute His assignments this year?

Will you execute the kingdom's work, or will He have to send someone else? Will you gather the harvest for Him by using the gifts and talents He has given you, or will you be a wicked, lazy servant? Nevertheless, the choice is yours.

As for me, I'm going. I have been set free to set captives free. I have been healed to bring healing. I have been delivered to do the same. This year, eyes will be opened, hearts will beat again, and souls will be saved in Jesus’ name. This year, God will get an increase on His investment in me!

So instead of letting doubt and fear talk you out of obedience this year, have faith and GO!
