IN MY HEART...

Have you ever remembered a conversation or a moment so clearly that if you close your eyes you could BE there?

When I wear these socks I always remember our son Kenny. ( Kenneth Thompson ) ❤️

The only way I can “see” him these days is in my heart...and it just so happens these days...those caverns are full of precious moments we shared when he was alive.

Me: “Kenny, do you realize how much GOLD TOE socks cost? You can get 12 pairs of Hanes for the price of 4 Gold Toe!”

Kenny “ Yep, but I like them.” Wiggling his toes donning the newest pair of black socks...and giving me that mischievous grin of his. I always loved the way his eyes “snapped” with excitement when he knew he was getting under my skin.

Me: (Ignoring his taunting for the moment.) “What is it you like so much about them? Is it the way they feel?”

Kenny: ( Looking down...at his wiggling toes ) “Yep...that’s part of it. But mostly...I love the gold arrows at the top of the toe.”

Now his face turned serious and he looked up to my inquiring gaze.

Me: “Why?”

Kenny: “Well...so I’ll always know the way home of course!” Giggling ...like only he could...he walked away and “clicked” his heels together mid air. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Now I wear these socks....every once in a awhile...and no one can see them.... but I’m reminded that though my heart aches and my eyes “leak”.... Kenny knew the WAY...the TRUTH and the LIFE... Jesus Christ...and he is home. ❤️❤️ 3 John 1:4

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
