Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
As you navigate through life and experience different relationships, always keep in mind what love really is and everything that it is NOT. This scripture isn't just for others, it it includes self love as well.
Every feeling of hurt, fear, pain and disappointment have all been washed in His blood. Those things happened to you, they are not who you are. God allowed them. Shift your focus to Him, His love, and allow Him to begin to remove those negative emotions. Trust Him and try Him to be all that He says He is.
Give Him your heart and allow Him to shape and mold it. Release heaviness and bitterness as they cannot exist with love.
