She Sees Differently Now

Perspective is powerful. It quietly shapes how we interpret our lives and what we believe about our challenges. It can skew how we see ourselves, and what we expect from our future. The reality is, two people can walk through the exact same situation and come out with completely different conclusions, simply because of how they chose to see it. That means this: even when your circumstances don’t immediately change, your experience of them can.

And that matters more than we often realize.

It’s easy and almost automatic to fall into negative thinking. Our minds drift toward worst-case scenarios. We begin to compare our journey to someone else’s highlight reel. Sometimes we replay what went wrong more than we reflect on what’s still possible and before we know it, our perspective becomes filtered through disappointment, fear, or insecurity. We sadly believe what our minds tell us.

Don't beat yourself up or condemn yourself, You are not stuck in that way of thinking.

There is another option. There is a higher lens.

Scripture reminds us that our minds can be renewed.“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” Romans 12:2

That means we don’t have to accept every thought as truth. We don’t have to build our identity around what hurt us, what didn’t work out, or what we’re still waiting on. We have the ability to pause, challenge what we’re believing, and choose a perspective that aligns with truth instead of fear.

What if what felt like rejection was actually protection? “For the Lord God is a sun and shield…” Psalm 84:11

It may be protection from something that wasn’t aligned or from a space that couldn’t sustain you. Possibly, protection from settling for less than what you were created for. What if this season you’ve been frustrated with the one thing that feels slow, uncomfortable, or even lonely, is actually preparation? “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” Romans 8:28

Preparation is key for capacity, clarity. and the version of you that can handle what you’ve been praying for. When your perspective shifts, everything begins to shift with it. You begin to move from fear to faith. The negative thoughts of “Why is this happening to me?” turns to “What is this growing in me?” When the shift happens, you go from feeling stuck to recognizing that something is being developed beneath the surface.

Don't get me wrong, perspective doesn’t deny reality, it just reframes it. We all know we cannot pretend things aren’t hard. How we view the situation simply refuses to let hardship be the final definition of your story. And maybe that’s the invitation today. Do not to force a change in your situation, but to reconsider how you’re seeing it. Sometimes the breakthrough you’re looking for isn’t external, it’s internal. “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7

So today, pause. and take a breath and ask yourself:“Is there another way to see this?”

Sit with that question longer than feels comfortable. Let it challenge your assumptions. Let it interrupt your patterns. Let it open the door to possibility again.

Because when your perspective expands, so does your hope.

And sometimes, that’s the very thing that carries you into your next season.

Sis,

We have some incredible experiences coming up and this is your reminder not to sit this one out. If you’ve been looking for a space to grow, be poured into, and truly connect, this is it. From our Fill Her Cup: Coffee & Bible Study, a space to reset, reflect, and be refreshed, to our Worship Night on May 30, where we gather for an intentional, presence filled experience, there’s something for you in this season. We’re also launching Project HER, our summer mentorship program for girls ages 14–18 focused on identity, confidence, life skills, and responsible social media use, and preparing for our signature experience, Abide & Bloom: The Evidence Summit, happening this fall. (Tickets available June 1st)

We are currently looking for facilitators for Project HER, so if you have a heart to pour into the next generation, we would love to have you—please sign up if you’re interested or share with someone who would be a great fit.

And if you feel inspired to support the work we’re doing, feel free to donate to I Am MOORE. Your generosity helps us continue creating safe, impactful spaces for women and girls to grow, heal, and step fully into who they’re called to be.

Every event is designed with purpose and you in mind. Don’t hesitate, secure your spot, RSVP, and register now. Your next level of growth, connection, and clarity could be one yes away.
