The Making of Your Evidence

What do you do when you want the thing, but you feel stuck?

It’s like every time you try to press forward, you’re met with opposition, fear, or defeat. Your effort starts to thin out, and your faith begins to dwindle. Have you ever been there?
I want to gently remind you, that is the exact moment where pressing a little harder matters most. Not harder in your own strength, but deeper in your surrender. Because while we often hear about blessings, overflow, and breakthrough, we don’t talk enough about the process it takes to get there. The stretching. The pruning. The waiting. The endurance.
Think about the woman who was bent over for 18 years. Eighteen years of limitation, discomfort, and what probably felt like no change. Yet one encounter with Jesus shifted everything. Or Hagar, the enslaved woman who followed instructions she didn’t create, only to be cast away with her son. Sitting in a place she never planned to be, carrying pain she didn’t deserve. God met her there. Not after she fixed it or figured it out, right there in the wilderness. And Hannah, year after year of disappointment, watching someone else have what she prayed for. Being provoked, misunderstood, and still choosing to go back to God in prayer. Even when it made her look crazy to others. She was even accused of being drunk as she poured her heart out to God. None of these women had easy stories, but they all had encounters. Lastly, let's not forget the woman from last week with the issue of blood. They all experienced God meeting them in the middle of their endurance. Endurance is the steadfast, active ability to remain faithful and keep going under severe pressure, trials, or temptation without giving up.
The Bible tells us that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. That means what you’re in right now isn’t pointless. It’s producing something in you, even if you can’t see it yet. Your perseverance is building something in you that comfort never could. Your character is being shaped in a way that will sustain the very thing you’re praying for. And please know that your hope is not as fragile as it feels. It’s actually being anchored deeper in God. It is building your trust in Him.
Sis, if you feel stuck, don’t assume you’re failing. You just might be forming. The resistence you're feeling does not mean that you should run or retreat because you might be closer than you think. When faith feels small, lean in to Him. He told you to cast ALL your cares on Him, because He cares for you. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stay. Stay in faith. Stay in prayer. Stay believing. Stay Consistent. God is not intimidated by your process. He’s the fourth man in the fire with you and He honors your persistence.

So press a little deeper. back into His presence and His promises. This isn’t the end of your story.
This is the part that’s building your evidence.
