The Promises from God...

One of the most amazing characteristics to me about God’s character, is that He never changes. Despite our actions, our feelings and our changes He remains the same. From generation to generation, decade to decade He remains the same. It’s so sobering to know that our God will FOREVER be the same and that His word is true.

In life, people often make promises they can't keep. Maybe circumstances change, maybe their feelings about you changed, and let’s be honest sometimes life just happens. But with God, He keeps all His promises! Today if you're feeling discouraged check out these 10 promises from God.

1.If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. – 2 Timothy 2:13

2.The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8

3.Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. – Joshua 1:9

4.In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:6

5.The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23

6.Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. – Psalm 37:4

7.Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. – Matthew 5:5

8.But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:31

9.And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. – Ezekiel 36:27

10.So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him. – Matthew 7:11

These promises are only a fraction of the promises that God has for His children. The Bible mentions many many more. My prayer is that these promises encourage you!

Let’s pray, Father God in the mighty name of Jesus, help me to remember the promises that you have for me in your word. Help me Lord to trust you, increase my faith in you and bring me to the realisation of your word, and that every word is true, every promise is true and that I can depend on you. I love you Lord, I thank you Lord in Jesus name I pray Amen.
