The Wait Is Working...

I want to speak to the women that feel like they are called to more and they are in a season of waiting. Come to the front!

I want to encourage you with this scripture:
“Yet I believe with all my heart that I will see again your goodness, Yahweh, in the land of life eternal! Here’s what I’ve learned through it all: Don’t give up; don’t be impatient; be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous, and never lose hope. Yes, keep on waiting, for he will never disappoint you!” Psalms 27:13-14
Sis, God will never disappoint you! He has a future and a plan for you, you just have to trust that He will see it through. In the in-between of what was and what’s to come, be entwined as one with the Lord.
Practical ways to do this is to:
• Stay close to Him daily
• Depend on God and not on your own strength
• Let His word shape your mind and heart
And Sis, while you’re waiting, don’t mistake waiting for doing nothing. Waiting is still an action word. I once heard waiting described like a server waiting tables. The waiter isn’t just standing around doing nothing. She’s greeting people, serving, checking on tables, taking orders, moving with intention, and being faithful with what’s in front of her.

That’s how we should be while waiting on God. While we wait, we continue serving well. We continue growing. We continue showing up. We continue being faithful over what He already placed in our hands. We continue loving people, building community, healing, learning, praying, and preparing for what’s next.
Waiting is not passive when it’s done with God. While you wait, have a knowing deep in your spirit that God is who He says He is and that He is a rewarder of those who place their trust in Him. Even when you can’t see it yet, trust that He is still working behind the scenes on your behalf.
So Sis, keep on waiting and serve well, stay planted, be in community, and find purpose even while you wait. Remember: He will never disappoint you.
Scriptures to meditate on this week:
Colossians 2:7
John 15:4-5
1 Corinthians 6:17
