Walking AS A Daughter In Freedom

Go in Freedom…what exactly does that look like? As we are called to do things in life, we often find ourselves overthinking and/or needing to know every detail of what's to come. It causes us to become weighed down.That can sometimes cause procrastination or just plain disobedience. We can't forget to lay down the heaviness of  life at His feet(regardless of what it is) and pick up His yoke and burden. Which are easy and light.As daughters, we have been freed by Jesus to walk with God. He will address all of our concerns in His 66 book letter written for us. Here is a glimpse into a daughter’s journey.

Me:How do I know that you are ordering my steps…

Abba: The steps of the righteous are ordered.Are you not the Righteous in Christ Jesus?

Me: I am

Me: What about in the dark times when I can’t see.

Abba: My word is a lamp unto your feet, and a light upon your path

Me: What about when I feel alone? Will you be with me?

Abba: I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Me: Sometimes I get scared.

Abba: Be strong and courageous.Don't be afraid or discouraged. For I am with you wherever you go.

Me: What if I say the wrong thing?

Abba: I will put the words in your mouth. Say only what I say.

Me: What if I don't look the part?

Abba: I created you and called you even before you were placed in your mother’s womb. Besides I am the Potter and you are…

Me: The Clay

Abba: I am sending out as my daughter.

Me: (smiling from ear to ear) That’s fair enough, I am that indeed.

Abba: Remember that when everyone else speaks and acts otherwise. 

Me: Abba I have one more question, what about the broken pieces of me?

Abba: They are mine. Did you not give them to me? I will do with them what is good because you are called according to my purpose and not the world’s.

Me: (takes a deep breath and repeat) I am the clay and a masterpiece of a loving Father and the Creator of all things. I am so glad you loved me first!

Abba: Daughter…

Me: Yes Abba. 

Abba: We are here.

Me: Already???

Abba: Remember, you overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of your testimony.

Me: and I don't love my life even unto death! Thank you for loving me.

Abba: Now let’s go tell and show how much I love them.

Me:( grab Abba’s right hand) Let’s go!

There is nothing like the freedom you receive when you accept Jesus and the work He has done for you on the cross! Through that sacrificial act , we were accepted by God as daughters. This is just a little snippet of our relationship with Abba ( God the Father).
