With Gratitude, Amen!

It's that time of the year, when we sit back and marvel at all the Lord has done so far. We gather with our friends and family. We share our love with one another over food, laughter, and memory- filled conversations.

Amongst all the things going on at this time of the year, I have learned to evaluate my year and prepare for the next. It is literally a meeting with the Holy Spirt. We go through the losses and wins. The victories and the lessons learned. He brings truth to the losses so that I am better prepared in the new year. Is He mostly talking to me about staying in my lane, yes! (but that's not what we talking about right now)

This year I am choosing to add a component to my end of the year review. A letter of Gratitude for 2025. Now don't hear what I am not saying... we are to ( I repeat, we. are. to.)practice gratitude all the time. We can express our gratitude in many ways. I'm a lover of written letters to Abba, so a letter to Abba seems appropriate to me. As for you, ask the Holy Spirit to help you and show you what the Lord has done this year and ask Him how can you express gratitude. If you would like to join me you can use the template below or freely write in your journal. If you can, get your family involved, especially the kids. This can teach us all to practice gratitude and contentment. Feel free to add anymore you can think of.

Lord, you have done all of this and more for me this year. You have did it all because you love me. I just wanted to take time to thank you for your faithfulness. Help me to practice gratitude all year round especially during this time of the year. Guide me to reach out to the family, community, and others around me to share your goodness and bring hope and encouragement during this holiday season.
