Quiet Progress

February is here, and before we rush ahead, it feels important to pause and check in...not just on the goals we wrote down at the beginning of the year, but on how we’re actually doing while working toward them.

If January didn’t go exactly as planned, you’re not behind Sis, . you’re human. Many of us are realizing that growth takes more patience than excitement. Progress doesn’t always move fast, and it doesn’t always feel inspiring, but slow and steady still wins the race.
Growth is often quiet. It shows up in consistency, in better decisions, and in choosing to keep going when motivation fades. If all you did last month was show up and not quit, that matters. Progress doesn’t have to be loud to be real.
As the year continues, outside noise has a way of getting louder. Comparison starts creeping in. Other people’s opinions, timelines, and expectations begin to apply pressure. Doubt whispers that you should be further along by now, and fear tries to convince you that you missed your moment, but this is where discernment matters. You cannot allow what is loud around you to override what God has already spoken over you.
Scripture reminds us in Romans 10:17 that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” That means what you consistently listen to shapes what you believe. If you’re not careful, the noise of the world will compete with the voice of God, and eventually, it will try to drown it out. God’s promises do not expire because progress feels slow or the path looks different than expected. Habakkuk 2:3 tells us, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.” Delay does not mean denial. Waiting does not mean God changed His mind. What God spoke still stands, even when the journey unfolds in ways you didn’t anticipate.
And when doubt tries to settle in, remember Isaiah 55:11: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please.” God’s word does not come back empty. If He promised it, He is responsible for bringing it to pass. Your responsibility is to remain faithful, obedient, and anchored. God often does His deepest work in the waiting, strengthening your character, sharpening your discernment, and preparing you for what you prayed for. Trust that even now, He is working behind the scenes, aligning things in ways you cannot yet see.
Hold on to the promise. Turn down the noise. And keep walking forward, confident that what God spoke over your life is still in motion.
For February, I Am MOORE is focusing on faith and finances. Stewardship matters, and freedom is connected to obedience. At the beginning of this year, I set a goal to eliminate my credit card debt completely by the end of 2026. As of now, and it’s only February, I’ve already paid down nearly $10,000. I still have work to do, but this progress has come from discipline, prayer, and intentional choices.
Our goals are attainable when we do things God’s way! Not rushed and defintily anot fearful. It takes wisdom, consistency, and trust in the all knowing, all powerful God.
Here are a few practical financial reminders for this month:
Get clear on your numbers because clarity brings peace.
Give your money direction with a simple plan.
Save something, even if it feels small.
Cut one expense instead of everything at once.
Pray over financial decisions, not just emergencies.
As we move through February, remember this: you’re not late, you’re not failing, and you’re not asking for too much. You’re becoming...God's way! Keep showing up. Keep trusting God. We’re walking this out together.
Remember, community matters, and sometimes progress looks like pausing long enough to connect, laugh, and be reminded that we’re not the only ones navigating growth in real time. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for Moo Moo’s & Mocktails, a cozy, intentional evening designed for just for you!
Requirements:
Come comfortable.
Come as you are.
